St. Matthew's Fair
St. Matthew's Fair

St. Matthew's Fair is the most popular annual funfair in Czechia. It features more than 100 rides and attractions, including a roller coaster, Ferris Wheel, carousel, octopus ride, extreme thrill rides, slides, a haunted house, shooting range, children's cars and train, a bouncy castle, trampolines, and a giant swinging ship. There are also several food and drink stalls.

Learn about the fate of the legendary Titanic ship and its passengers at this fascinating exhibition. See hundreds of exhibits recovered from the ocean floor; walk through real cabins, lounges, and part of the engine room; touch an iceberg; and, get your picture taken on the bow of the ship. Audio visual displays recreate the former glory of the Titanic.

Prehistoric Adventures of Eduard Štorch - Exhibition

Eduard Štorch was a popular author of books for children and an avid amateur archaeologist. This exhibition connects both aspects of his life, through displays divided into five parts: the Stone Age, the Bronze Age, the Iron Age, the Roman Age and the Early Middle Ages. Visitors can discover the world of mammoth hunters, wolves, bears and beavers, as well as Roman and Celtic warriors.

Františka Plamínková was a pioneer of women’s rights, a teacher, politician, and a fighter against Nazism. This exhibition explores the life and values of one of the most remarkable figures of modern Czech history. It includes personal photographs and artifacts, letters, including a famous one sent to Adolf Hitler, and a library of over 700 volumes with notes that reveal how she thought and what shaped her.
